The Makeup Trend We Can’t Stop Staring At

Just as we thought we caught our breath after the Golden Globes, the 24^th Annual Critics' Choice Awards is underway in Santa Monica, USA with some of the dreamiest makeup looks we’ve seen. As we know, you love a red carpet look as much as we do, so it’s only right that we bring you the hottest makeup trends for 2019.

Last year we saw a strong red lip and smokey eye take over the blue carpet and this year it’s the complete opposite. Worn by the likes of Lady Gaga and Jodie Comer, it’s the triple pink hit that’s a show-stopper for 2019. You can’t go wrong with this jaw-dropping, elegant combination of pink eyes, cheeks and lips. Emily Blunt went for a subtle light pink eyeshadow, rosy cheeks and a nude-pink lip whilst Mandy Moore rocked a more vibrant pink shade with a strong eyeshadow and lip colour and luminous blushing cheeks.

To create this look, start by applying our Mineral Primer to entire face to set your base. Using the tip of the Liquid Foundation Brush apply the Liquid Mineral Foundation and set with our Pressed Mineral Rice Setting Powder. Apply the Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad in ‘Vintage’ or ‘Timeless’ depending on the pink tone you are after and coat the top and bottom lashed with Blackout Mascara. Apply Mineral Radiance 'Sundance' to the cheekbones and Pressed Mineral Blush in ‘Blossom’ to the apples of your cheeks. Outline lips with ‘Pout’ Lip Liner Pencil and finish with ‘Harmony’ Lipstick.
